Rainy day slow cooker pot roast

Still attempting to recover from whatever I have (flu gone into Chf) and it is very rainy for So. Cal. It was delightful to come home from school to dinner already mostly done for me...

I had 2 roasts cooking all day in the slow cooker with packets of onion soup mix...I intentionally made too much so I could send dinner home with the little kids...they have science projects to finish and I wanted them to have a good dinner...

Sending home the leftover mashed potatoes from the other day, some boiled carrots and gravy...for us, I made boiled potatoes.

With CHF I usually do not eat much...so it is tonight even tho I love pot roast..
