yesterday, I put a huge pork shoulder into my slow cooker with some coca cola (about 1/3 of the slow cooker) and put it on high for 10 hours...I put in frig overnight...then, today I trimmed it up and chopped it up and oh my...it is so delicious and so moist and tender...melts in your mouth...love how it came out...will definitely do it this way again...and we have tons leftover, maybe I will make tacos from them...
so tonight:
pulled pork on buns with bbq sauce (I do not like mine smothered in sauce, so I just add a little sauce to both sides of the bread)
baked beans
green beans
homemade cole slaw...
everyone was happy...
