everyone in this family loves this...been making since I was first married (42 years?) and I always make 2 extra smaller round pans of this to give away to friends...
my next door neighbor (she is a teacher) and I like to make dinners for them...her hubby loves my spam pie
Zoie loves making her own little pie, her own way...
the sauce is made like this
make a roux with 8 tablespoons of butter, 7 tablespoons of flour, one can of evaporated milk and one can of chicken broth...
and of course seasonings...
you can make your own crust and add diced cooked chicken and whatever veggies you want...I always just add a pkg of frozen peas and carrots...
so yummy definitely a family favorite
